The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concept development, space planning, FF&E, and project coordination from design through to implementation, ensuring design excellence, brand alignment, and compliance with local standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design development and execution of interior design packages across multiple projects.
- Manage interior design deliverables including mood boards, material specifications, technical drawings, and FF&E selections.
- Coordinate with architecture, MEP, and construction teams to ensure alignment of interior design intent.
- Conduct regular design reviews, ensuring adherence to aesthetic, functional, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop RFP documents, conduct technical evaluations, and manage consultant procurement.
- Monitor project schedules, variation orders, and maintain change/risk registers.
- Participate in mockup reviews, show unit setups, and on-site implementation with the construction team.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, UAE regulations, and authority requirements.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage design expectations and quality.
- Support the Executive Director Design in strategic design decisions and team coordination.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- 1015 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in a senior interior design role.
- Proven UAE experience working with real estate developers or large-scale design firms.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and MS Office.
- Extensive knowledge of space planning, material finishes, FF&E, and documentation standards.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes, authority submission processes, and design regulations.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to tight deadlines.
