We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Interior Site Supervisor / Interior Site Engineer to join our team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supervising interior fit-out works for mixed-use developments, urban destinations, and business environments, with a strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality standards, and project execution.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the execution of interior fit-out works on large-scale mixed-use developments, ensuring that all works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to work closely with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality interior works.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor interior fit-out works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
- Coordinate daily site activities with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and mock-ups before installation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, progress, and compliance with project requirements.
- Identify construction issues and coordinate with the design and engineering teams to resolve technical and site-related challenges.
- Ensure all interior works are executed in accordance with contract documents, applicable codes, and industry standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
- Verify installed works and prepare snag lists, ensuring timely rectification of defects before project handover.
- Attend site meetings, progress meetings, and coordination workshops, preparing inspection reports and progress updates.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements throughout construction activities.
- Coordinate testing, inspections, and final acceptance of completed interior works.
- Support the Project Manager in project planning, execution, and successful delivery of interior fit-out works.
- Review contractors work and certify completed works in accordance with project quality requirements and contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of professional interior design experience.
- Proven experience in mixed-use developments, urban developments, and business destination projects.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across commercial, office, retail, hospitality, and public realm interiors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
