About Our Client

Our client is a growing, design-led interior design and fit-out studio based in Dubai, delivering high-end residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects. With a strong pipeline of premium projects and continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Interior Designer (Design Manager level) to support project delivery and maintain high design standards across their portfolio.

This is a hands-on senior role. Despite the Design Manager level positioning, this role does not involve managing a team. The focus is on technical design, site coordination, and execution, rather than purely conceptual or system-based design.

Role Overview

The Senior Interior Designer (Design Manager level) will be responsible for managing design delivery from concept through to detailed design and site execution. The role requires strong technical knowledge and on-site experience, ensuring designs are practical, buildable, and delivered to a high standard.

This role suits a senior designer who is comfortable being client-facing, working closely with contractors, and solving real-time site and technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Delivery

• Lead design development from concept through to detailed design
  
• Produce and review technical drawings, layouts, and specifications
  
• Ensure designs are buildable and aligned with site conditions
  
• Maintain design intent through construction and fit-out stages
  

Site & Project Coordination

• Attend site meetings and support construction and fit-out teams
  
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers
  
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and mock-ups
  
• Resolve technical and site-related design issues efficiently
  

Quality & Design Standards

• Ensure high standards of detailing, materials, and finishes
  
• Review design documentation prior to issue
  
• Maintain consistency and quality across multiple projects
  
  

• Proven experience as a Senior Interior Designer on luxury projects
  
• Strong site and technical experience (essential)
  
• Solid understanding of construction methods, detailing, and materials
  
• Ability to translate concepts into clear, executable designs
  
• Confident managing own projects from start to finish
  
• Experience in the UAE or wider GCC preferred
  
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
