Title: Senior Interior Designer

Salary: up to 28,000 AED

Location: Dubai

My client, one of Dubai's leading architecture studios with 150+ people and 2025 award-winning projects, is looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join their team.

They're literally turning down projects due to staff shortages - working on mega residential, commercial, and hospitality developments that are actually getting built.

Role Overview:

This is a hands-on senior ID role. You'll be shaping and guiding the creative vision for interior design projects, overseeing the design process, ensuring creative and technical excellence, and coordinating alignment with client requirements and project goals. You'll promote innovation, design thinking, and implementation, ensuring that every project reflects the highest standards of creativity and functionality.

Responsibilities:

Oversee design direction and feedback to the team, fostering innovation and excellence

Lead design projects holistically (end-to-end ownership) and liaise with the Client for their approval

Assign tasks to Interior Designers and Junior Interior Designers, oversee team work to meet design standards and deadlines

Oversee the design process from 3D Visuals and submission to ensure that the design integrity and objectives are maintained

Evaluate the progression of Schematic and Detail Design drawings to ensure that they are comprehensive and technically sound, while also meeting project requirements

Oversee the preparation of Material boards and the detailed specifications

Evaluate FF&E package and tender set to oversee project management to design intent and budget expectations

Maintain design quality and ensuring consistency across different spaces, presentation sets on client by office team members and listed in the right location

Requirements:

5-8 years of experience in Interior Design, project delivery, design leadership and project management

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture

Proficiency in commercial, residential, hospitality and mixed-use projects

Experience with luxury or high-end interiors; design studios

Strong design and technical skills, with proficiency in FF&E and detail standards

Expertise in space planning and material selection

Excellent leadership and project management abilities

Strong communication and client-facing skills to articulate creativity and excellence

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

In-depth knowledge of latest design trends

Proficiency in MS office software (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook) Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software with strong relationship management abilities Advanced knowledge of BIM processes and tools

Knowledge of 3D and animation processes

Knowledge of sustainable procurement terminology, skills and software

Strong detailing capabilities

Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
