Job brief:

We are looking for an artful Interior Designer to undertake a variety of space designing projects. You will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the stakeholders to managing and executing the design.

As a SKETCHURE interior designer, you will tap into your boundless creativity and passion for design to produce unique and functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You are a self-motivated, team player who is ready for active participation in all phases of the design process.

Responsibilities

• Undertake design project from concept to completion
• Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
• Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
• Set costs and project fees according to budget
• Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
• Produce “sample” and “mood products”
• Create a variety of high-quality exterior and interior architectural 3D models and renderings.
• Rapidly construct accurate high quality, realistic 3D renderings
• Create 3D massing models from architectural plans in 3D Max. Applying textures to the models and providing appropriate lighting techniques.
• Create 2D drawings (Architectural drawings).
• Supervise work progress
• Work closely with designers, decorators, architects, and constructors
• Research and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practices
• Manage and mentor junior designers:Â This includes providing guidance on design concepts, reviewing work, and providing feedback.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in interior design:Â This includes attending trade shows, reading industry publications, and following trends on social media.
• Budget and manage projects:Â This includes developing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

• BS degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of work experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning, and new constructions)
• Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and all installations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, V-Ray / Corona, Photoshop, Lumion, and other design programs.
• Excellent portfolio of previous works. '
• Excellent research and design skills.

• Project management skills
• Attention to detail.
