We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our consultancy team for a supervision role on a major industrial project. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in interior design and construction oversight, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Interior Design Lead, ensuring all works align with approved interior design concepts, drawings, and specifications.
  • Monitor construction and fit-out activities daily to verify compliance with interior design standards, quality benchmarks, and safety regulations.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, finishes, samples, and mock-ups, ensuring they meet design intent and project requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with contractors, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders to resolve interior design, material, and finish-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed reports highlighting progress, deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely communication of design clarifications and updates to maintain smooth workflow and avoid delays.
  • Advocate for quality, functionality, and aesthetics while ensuring compliance with industrial project standards and operational requirements.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • 12–15 years of experience, with proven expertise in industrial projects, fit-out works, and site supervision.
  • Strong understanding of interior fit-out methodologies, space planning, materials and finishes, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
