We are partnering with a highly prestigious Abu Dhabi-based investment platform to appoint a Senior Internal Auditor to join their growing team.
This opportunity is ideal for a high-calibre audit professional coming from a Big 4 background who has successfully transitioned from practice into industry within a sovereign wealth fund, investment management, private equity, asset management, or institutional investment environment, Arabic speaker is mandatory for this role.
The role is an initial 6 month contract (Renewable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support internal audit activities across the organisation
- Manage relationships and coordination with ADAA and external audit stakeholders
- Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and senior business leadership on audit and governance matters
- Evaluate internal controls, operational effectiveness, and regulatory compliance
- frameworks
- Prepare audit findings, reports, and recommendations for executive stakeholders and
- comittees
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across governance and control environments
- Participate in strategic finance transformation projects, including AI-driven automation initiatives, digital controls, and process optimisation
- Contribute to strengthening audit methodologies and technology-enabled assurance capabilities
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience across Big 4 and industry
- Prior experience within sovereign wealth funds, investment companies, asset managemet,audit or fund management environments
- Strong exposure managing or supporting Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) audits and stakeholder engagement
- Arabic speaking is essential
- Strong understanding of governance, risk management, controls, and institutional audit
- frameworks
- Experience engaging with senior leadership, legal, compliance, finance, and operational
- stakeholders
- Ability to operate in a highly regulated and governance-driven environment
