We're Hiring | Senior Investment Manager (Technology, Media & Telecommunications – TMT)
Candidate Requirements — Investment Manager
- Experience: 6+ years in investment banking (IB), private equity (PE), or growth equity, with a preference for a technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) focus; prior deal-lead experience expected.
- Target backgrounds: Candidates from leading technology-focused PE and growth equity firms .
- Leadership: Capable of mentoring associates/analysts and managing multiple live workstreams to deadline.
- Languages: Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) strongly preferred.
Operational tasks
- Deal ownership: Track record of running transactions end-to-end — sourcing, diligence, execution, and closing — across both direct and fund investments, with demonstrable deals led (not just supported) across growth tech, private equity primarily
- Judgment: Ability to independently form and defend an investment thesis, size positions, and make pass/recommend calls to senior decision-makers.
- Technical foundation: Deep corporate finance expertise — valuation (discounted cash flow, comparables, precedent transactions), capital structure, and returns analysis.
- Financial modeling: Expert-level Excel — builds, stress-tests, and reviews LBO, operating, and returns (internal rate of return / multiple on invested capital) models; can quality-check junior work.
- Documentation: Structuring and negotiating term sheets, subscription documents, limited partnership agreements (LPAs), private placement memoranda (PPMs), and information memoranda (IMs).
Presentation skills: Produce board- and investment committee (IC)-ready decks and concise recommendations; comfortable presenting directly to principals and external
