About our client

Our client is a globally recognised investment organisation with a strong track record of innovation, excellence, and long-term value creation. As part of its continued evolution, the firm has recently brought together several internal teams to create a dedicated Investment Operations function. As the function continues to develop, the firm is looking to hire a Senior Investment Operations Associate who will play a key role in ensuring the operational integrity of the public markets investment book across fixed income, equities, and derivatives.

What the job involves

Reporting to the VP of Investment Operations, the role will offer significant autonomy and responsibility across the investment operations life-cycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate positions, exposures, and analytics to support investment decision-making and reporting along with investment and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities will include:

• IBOR and position management
• Performance measurement and analytics
• Investment compliance
• New product on-boarding
• Market infrastructure
• Data management
• Stakeholder management and continuous improvement
  
  

Who we are looking for

• Previous experience in investment operations or middle office
• Experience gained within an investment management environment
• Strong experience across public markets investment operations
• In-depth understanding of the trade lifecycle, IBOR and investment compliance
• Experience with Aladdin or eFront would be advantageous
• A practical user of AI and automation tools, with an interest in leveraging technology to improve processes and efficiency
