About our client
Our client is a leading global investment firm with a long-term track record across private markets. The firm is looking to add a Principal to its APAC infrastructure team, which invests across Hong Kong, Japan, China, South Korea, SEA and Australia through direct co-investments and fund commitments.
What the job involves
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading transactions from origination through to execution and portfolio management, working closely with senior stakeholders and investment partners.
- Leading the evaluation and execution of direct infrastructure investments and fund commitments across APAC
- Building and reviewing complex financial models, valuations and investment cases to support decision-making
- Leading commercial, financial and operational due diligence alongside external advisors and management teams
- Preparing and presenting investment recommendations to senior leadership and Investment Committee
- Managing transaction execution, fund due diligence, negotiations and documentation through to completion
- Developing relationships with sponsors, advisors, management teams and other market participants to originate and assess new investment opportunities
Who we are looking for
- Significant transaction experience and proven track record of evaluating and executing investment opportunities in infrastructure, ideally within the APAC region
- Exceptional financial modelling and analytical skills, with a strong grasp of valuation and accounting concepts
- Confident communicator, comfortable working in a collaborative, high-performance environment
- Willingness to be based full-time in Abu Dhabi
