Summary

The Senior IT Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing strategic client accounts, driving revenue growth, and strengthening long-term customer relationships within the IT solutions and services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Understand client business objectives and align IT solutions accordingly.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure client needs are addressed effectively and professionally.
  • Account Management
  • Manage assigned accounts and oversee the full account lifecycle.
  • Maintain strong engagement with stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Ensure delivery commitments are met according to agreed timelines and scope.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Sales Strategy Development
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities within current client portfolios.
  • Support business expansion initiatives and revenue growth plans.
  • Collaborate with presales and technical teams to design competitive solutions.
  • Client Satisfaction & Issue Resolution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key client communications.
  • Manage escalations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze customer data and sales performance metrics.
  • Forecast account performance and revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and account reports.

Provide insights and recommendations based on account analytics

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in IT sales, account management, or technology solutions sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions, systems integration, or enterprise technology services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
