Summary:
The Senior IT Solution Architect plays a critical role in the Oil & Gas industry, focusing on developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity and network security solutions. The primary goal is to leverage extensive technical expertise in both pre-sales and post-sales functions to create valuable solutions tailored to customer needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Architect end-to-end network and security solutions using Enterprise Cybersecurity & Network Security Solutions.
- Engage with customers in pre-sales activities including solution positioning, proposals, and proof of concepts (PoCs).
- Provide delivery support and governance during implementation phases.
- Optimize security architectures based on organizational needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to simplify complex technical concepts for better understanding.
- Prepare technical documentation and deliver presentations to business stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive IT solution design experience.
- 3-5 years in an architecture or senior consulting role.
- Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity, IT security, networking, and application security.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
Nice to Have:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CCSP.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF, SABSA, Zachman.
- Understanding of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
- Strong customer engagement skills.
