Senior Java Developer (Angular)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Java (Angular) role based in El Maadi El Gadida. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java on the backend and Angular on the frontend. The role involves building RESTful APIs and microservices, integrating third-party services, working with databases, ensuring application security and performance, and contributing to technical design and development best practices.

The role also includes code reviews, mentoring team members, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

-4+ years of hands-on Java development experience

-Strong experience with latest/current Java versions

-Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs

-Strong experience designing and developing Microservices

-3+ years of hands-on Angular experience, preferably with the latest/current Angular versions

-Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

-Strong understanding of OOP and SOLID principles

-Strong experience with relational databases, SQL, and data modeling

-Good understanding of Java application security and secure coding practices

-Experience with third-party integrations and enterprise applications

-Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI

-Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable code

-Experience with unit, integration, and automated testing

-Strong problem-solving and communication skills

-Experience mentoring developers or taking technical ownership of features/projects

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
