Our client, a well-established IT solutions provider and system integrator in the UAE, is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi. As a pioneer in the UAE IT sector, they specialise in cloud solutions, storage, software, networking, managed services, outsourcing and enterprise IT solutions. With a strong focus on growth, wellness, and employee satisfaction, the company has built a reputation for low staff turnover and a collaborative work culture.

The Senior Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving IT solution sales, managing key client relationships, and securing large-scale contracts. The role requires a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in complex IT solution sales, particularly within government and enterprise sectors.

Responsibilities

- Develop and manage relationships with key enterprise and government clients.

- Drive sales of cloud solutions, storage, servers, cyber security, networking, managed services, outsourcing and other IT solutions.

- Work towards annual sales targets, with flexibility on the products and services sold.

- Manage the full sales cycle, including contract negotiations, proposal development, and closing deals.

- Navigate long sales cycles with a sense of urgency (typically 46 months for contract awards and another 4 months for deployment).

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and deployment of solutions.

- Attend early morning client meetings (7:308:00 AM start times) due to government schedules.

Requirements:

- 15+ years experience in complex IT solution sales.

- Proven ability to manage large enterprise/government clients and secure high-value contracts.

- Experience selling multi-vendor IT solutions (not just vendor-side sales).

- Strong understanding of the UAE IT market, particularly within Abu Dhabi.

- Must be based in Abu Dhabi (relocation considered).

- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
