Job Summary

Senior Key Account Manager - Modern Trade is responsible for implementing the company's sales strategy cascaded down by the head of sales to achieve monthly and quarterly sales and collection target. He / She will be responsible for reviewing and confirming the promotional calendars and their execution by aligning with key customers and sales team.

Job Responsibilities

Sales Planning

  • Assist the channel manager in to prepare the annual sales budget with detailed sales targets of his customers
  • Prepare, propose and control the sales budget financial and resource requirements
  • Implement company sales strategy
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base within key accounts.
  • Lead and mentor the key account management team, setting objectives and monitoring performance
  • Provide regular reports on account status and sales forecasts to upper management

Sales Operations and promotional calendars planning and execution

  • Accountable to achieve set sales and collection targets
  • Promotional Calendars planning and execution
  • On shelf availability at 100% and shelf space as per the customer contract
  • Prepare and present quarter business review reports to his customers encompassing the customers achievement by brand and branch with recommendation on potential opportunities and challenges.
  • Support the MT channel managers in building the promotional Calendars and ensure the in-market execution.
  • Run quarterly reconciliation and ensure no dispute or overdoes with the customer.
  • Reduce bad returns and prepare tracker to be presented to the management on monthly basis
  • Schedule visits to customer's head office and visit the branches
  • Ensure prime location for our products

Relationship with stakeholders

  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers
  • Having regular business reviews with customers
  • Maintain robust business relationship with a high level of communication with the customers (Buyers, category managers, supply chain, accounting, store managers) across KSA.

Job Specification

  • Bachelor's degree in business. Master's is a plus.
  • MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • 10 + years of sales experience with FMCG products in reputable companies, including 4 years of experience as a Sales Key Accounts Manager.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal Arabic and English languages.
