We're Hiring | Landscape Designer – AF GROUP AF GROUP is looking for a talented and creative Landscape Designer to join our design team in Cairo/ Egypt.

About the Role

We are seeking a design-driven professional with a strong creative mindset and proven experience in developing landscape projects from Concept Design through Design Development and detailed design. The ideal candidate should be capable of transforming design ideas into functional, visually compelling, and well-integrated outdoor environments across residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative landscape concepts and design solutions aligned with project requirements and the overall design vision.
• Develop Master Plans, landscape layouts, and detailed landscape designs.
• Design outdoor spaces including plazas, gardens, pedestrian areas, walkways, and open spaces.
• Develop and coordinate Hardscape, Softscape, Water Features, Outdoor Furniture, and Lighting Concepts.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, planting elements, and outdoor features for each project.
• Prepare professional design presentations, concept boards, and visual materials for internal reviews and client presentations.
• Produce and develop detailed and technical landscape drawings.
• Prepare planting schedules, material schedules, and quantity information as required.
• Contribute to the preparation of landscape technical specifications.
• Coordinate with architectural, urban design, MEP, structural, and other relevant disciplines to ensure fully integrated design solutions.
• Review project requirements and ensure designs comply with applicable standards and project guidelines.
• Monitor design progress, identify potential challenges, and support the delivery of projects within the required timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design/Planning, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in landscape design.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Concept Design, Master Planning, Design Development, and Detailed Landscape Design.
• Proven experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, and/or mixed-use projects.
• Strong understanding of Hardscape and Softscape design principles.
• Good knowledge of landscape materials, planting, outdoor elements, and finishes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, D5 Render, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AI-powered design and visualization tools is highly valued.
• Strong design presentation and visual communication skills.
• Excellent creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Very good command of English.

Preferred Skills

• We are particularly interested in candidates with strong creative and landscape design capabilities, rather than profiles primarily focused on drafting, technical documentation, or site execution.
