About the Role

Client is seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Business Analyst with a strong background in Asset and Investment Management to lead complex analysis workstreams across Business, Operations, Data, and Technology. This is a hands-on role for a mature, analytical BA who can independently drive analysis from problem definition through to an implementable solution — not a requirements-documentation role.

Senior / Lead Business Analyst – Asset Management

Client: Location: Riyadh, KSA

Contract: 12 months, extendable

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and management across business, operations, and technology stakeholders
• Translate complex business needs into clear, implementable business and functional requirements
• Define business rules, validations, controls, and exception scenarios
• Perform data requirements analysis and data mapping
• Define system and integration requirements
• Conduct impact, dependency, and gap analysis
• Maintain requirements traceability and manage change control
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and manage stakeholder relationships
• Define acceptance criteria, support UAT, and lead business validation
• Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, vendors, and delivery teams
• Challenge assumptions and requirements where appropriate; analyze processes and data to identify root gaps and dependencies

Asset Management Domain Experience (required in several of the following)

• Portfolio Management and Portfolio Accounting
• Investment Operations
• Order and Trade Lifecycle, including post-trade
• Investment Performance Measurement
• Investment / Client Reporting
• Valuation and NAV
• Benchmarks, market data, and investment data
• Cash, position, and transaction reconciliation
• Mutual Funds and/or Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM)

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of Business Analysis experience, with significant hands-on experience in Asset/Investment Management
• Proven ability to independently lead complex analysis across Business, Operations, Data, and Technology
• Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and analytical rigor
• Experience with platforms such as Advent APX, SimCorp, Charles River, Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM, FactSet, or similar is an advantage
• Strong data analysis skills, SQL desirable
• Genuine Asset/Investment Management BA background strongly preferred over general banking BA experience
