What This Role Is About

Our client, a large FMCG company, is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel MEA, based in Dubai, to lead legal support across the Middle East & Africa region.

This role will serve as a key legal partner to regional leadership, providing strategic and operational legal guidance across multiple markets.

You will oversee commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, corporate governance matters, risk management, and dispute resolution while ensuring alignment with regional and global standards.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including commercial, supply chain, marketing, and finance teams, to mitigate risk, enable business growth, and ensure legal best practices across the MEA region.

The Client's Definition of the Ideal Fit

• Qualified lawyer with strong post-qualification experience (ideally 812+ years PQE).
• Proven experience within a large FMCG or multinational environment.
• Strong expertise in commercial contracts, regulatory frameworks, and regional compliance.
• Experience supporting multiple markets across MEA.
• Ability to balance legal risk with commercial practicality.
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills at the senior leadership level.
• High level of integrity, sound judgment, and decision-making capability.
