Senior Loss Prevention Engineer Job Description

Main Purpose of Role
The Senior Loss Prevention Engineer may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMT project team environment. The Senior Loss Prevention Engineer shall be responsible for the following tasks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Pre FEED/EPC Preliminary Hazard Assessment recommendations are included in FEED/EPC deliverables.
- Check, review and approve all technical safety deliverables by FEED/EPC contractor.
- Review and approve Fire Water network calculation and fire water demand
- Review and approve Fire & Gas detection systems
- Review and approve passive fire protection systems
- Review and approve fire water tanks, pumps, water mist systems
Knowledge / Experience (Skills)
- At least Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Safety / Loss prevention for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects; or closely related project types.
- PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
- Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
- Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related Engineering discipline.
The job location will be based in Al Khafji , Saudi Arabia.
