Job Summary:
The Low Current Presales Senior Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and solutions during the sales cycle for low-current systems, including security, communication, and audiovisual systems. The role involves preparing technical proposals, system designs, BOQs, and presentations that meet client requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review client inquiries, specifications, and tender documents to identify project requirements.
- Design and prepare technical and commercial proposals for Low current systems, including but not limited to (CCTV systems, Access control systems, Fire alarm systems, Public address (PA) and voice evacuation, Data network and structured cabling, Intrusion detection and security systems, Parking solutions, Audio-visual and IPTV systems)
- Prepare and review system design drawings, SLDs, and technical submittals.
- Conduct product selection, cost estimation, and prepare bills of quantities (BOQ).
- Provide technical support to the sales team during client meetings and presentations.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product selection and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and project specifications.
- Support the project and implementation teams with technical documentation and clarifications when required.
- Keep up to date with new technologies, products, and market trends in low-current systems.,
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in light current systems, preferably in a presales or design role.
- Strong technical knowledge of security, safety, and communication systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant design or estimation tools.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Vendor certifications (e.g., Honeywell, Bosch, Axis, Hikvision, etc.) are a plus.
