Mighty Foods is Hiring: Senior Maintenance Engineer
Mighty Crisp Factory | Full-Time | Onsite
We're looking for a hands-on Senior Maintenance Engineer to own all maintenance and engineering activities at our Mighty Crisp factory - across production lines (popping-corn, rice-popping, flow-wrap packing) and utilities (compressors, boilers, HVAC, chillers, water).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the maintenance plan across all production lines and utilities.
- Run daily maintenance, minor repairs, and changeovers - hands-on, alongside the technician.
- Perform direct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs when needed.
- Follow up on breakdowns, analyze failure patterns, and apply preventive measures.
- Monitor equipment performance against benchmarks (OEE, MTTR, MTBF, breakdown rate) and take corrective action.
- Build and improve maintenance SOPs for daily maintenance, repairs, changeovers, and major repairs.
- Ensure all activities meet HSE, quality, and food-safety standards (NFSA, FSSC 22000) through LOTO, work permits, and food-grade discipline.
- Manage spare parts - critical-stock availability, usage control, specifications, and purchase requests.
- Maintain detailed equipment records - machine history, modifications, and performance trends.
- Coach and develop maintenance technicians and assign daily work.
- Develop and deliver the maintenance training plan for technicians, engineers, and operators.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, HSE, Procurement, and Finance.
- Manage third-party service providers and OEM suppliers - contracts, evaluations, and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 4–6 years of maintenance experience in the food industry or FMCG manufacturing.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting - able to work as a technician when required.
- Solid food-safety knowledge (NFSA, FSSC 22000, ISO).
- Strong planning, organization, and time management.
- Effective communication and cross-functional coordination.
- Audit discipline - systematic, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
Preferred
- CMMS / maintenance-planning software experience.
- TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) / Lean basics.
- AutoCAD proficiency.
