Senior Manager AI Security Product Owner

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – AI Security Product Owner with a strong combination of cybersecurity, AI/ML security, AI governance, product ownership, and risk management expertise to support an ongoing full onsite engagement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the strategy, roadmap, governance, and secure delivery of AI/ML products and platforms, ensuring that AI solutions are developed and deployed in alignment with enterprise cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and lifecycle for AI security products and capabilities
• Partner with AI/ML engineering, cybersecurity, technology, risk, compliance, and business teams to identify and prioritize secure AI use cases
• Embed security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles throughout AI/ML product development and deployment
• Establish and govern AI security controls covering model development, deployment, integration, monitoring, and ongoing operations
• Conduct and oversee AI/ML security and risk assessments, including data privacy, model risk, bias, explainability, misuse, and regulatory considerations
• Drive alignment with AI governance and security frameworks including NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act, ISO 27001, and relevant enterprise security standards
• Lead secure AI product delivery across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
• Integrate cybersecurity controls into MLOps and LLMOps pipelines, ensuring continuous security and control validation
• Drive secure SDLC practices including AI threat modelling, vulnerability management, secure deployment, testing, and remediation
• Define security requirements for Generative AI, LLMs, RAG solutions, AI agents, APIs, and other emerging AI technologies
• Address emerging AI security threats including prompt injection, data leakage, model manipulation, adversarial AI, insecure output handling, and OWASP LLM risks
• Manage third-party AI solution and vendor security assessments, ensuring compliance with security, risk, privacy, and contractual requirements
• Maintain AI risk registers, governance documentation, security reporting, audit evidence, and remediation tracking
• Define monitoring frameworks for AI systems covering logging, anomaly detection, abuse prevention, security events, and incident response
• Support and lead AI-related security incident investigations, root cause analysis, and continuous security improvements
• Act as a key interface between Product, AI/ML Engineering, Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance, Architecture, and external vendors.

Required Experience

• 12+ years of professional experience across Cybersecurity, AI/ML Security, Technology Risk, Product Ownership, or closely related domains
• Strong hands-on understanding of AI/ML security, Generative AI security, AI governance, and AI risk management
• Proven experience in Product Ownership / Product Management, including product strategy, roadmap ownership, prioritization, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management
• Strong understanding of LLM security, AI threat modelling, adversarial AI, and emerging AI security risks
• Experience securing MLOps / LLMOps pipelines and AI/ML development and deployment lifecycles
• Strong experience with cloud security across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, secure SDLC, vulnerability management, threat modelling, and security architecture
• Experience with AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and risk frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, and related regulatory requirements
• Experience conducting security and risk assessments for AI platforms, AI models, Generative AI solutions, and third-party AI technologies
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across senior business, technology, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and engineering teams
• Experience working within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated enterprise environments is highly preferred
• Ability to work full onsite in the UAE.

Preferred Experience

• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent cybersecurity/risk certifications
• AI Security, Responsible AI, or AI Governance certifications
• Cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent
• Product Ownership / Agile certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, Scrum Product Owner, or equivalent
• Experience implementing Responsible AI, AI governance, and AI risk management programs within large enterprises
• Experience securing Generative AI, LLM, RAG, agentic AI, and enterprise AI platforms
• Previous experience within banking or financial services environments in the UAE/GCC
• Experience supporting regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements within highly regulated organizations.
