Our client, a leading conglomerate with diversified interests is seeking a Senior Manager Business Excellence to drive strategic compliance, digital transformation, and operational excellence initiatives across the group.
About the Role
This is a pivotal position responsible for shaping and leading the organisation's compliance and business excellence agenda. The Senior Manager will partner closely with business leaders to embed governance frameworks, enhance process efficiency, and champion a pragmatic culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Leadership:
- Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide compliance frameworks, policies, and SOPs.
- Lead compliance audits, respond to findings, and oversee corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to ISO and other regulatory standards relevant to the industries the group operates in.
- Digital & Process Excellence:
- Manage change requests, assess impact, and oversee end-to-end implementation in collaboration with IT.
- Drive digital excellence and automation initiatives, including RPA and process mining.
- Lead performance management and continuous improvement programs across the organisation.
- Policy & Risk Governance:
- Update and maintain policies to ensure they align with evolving business and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure risk mitigation and compliance integration within business operations.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Act as a trusted partner and advisor to senior leadership.
- Promote a culture of compliance that is pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and business-friendly, not bureaucratic.
- Mentor a lean, high-performing team while being hands-on when needed.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in business excellence, compliance, risk management, or audit, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in highly regulated sectors such as finance, banking, real estate, or insurance.
- Strong technical grasp of compliance frameworks (ISO, governance, risk & control, policy management).
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders, communicate effectively, and drive practical, value-adding compliance.
- A collaborative, hands-on leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
