Position Overview
The Digital Business Solutions Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging business units and subsidiaries with the Digital department. This role is responsible for understanding diverse business requirements, translating them into effective technology solutions, and leading the delivery of initiatives that address critical operational needs.
The position serves as a key driver of innovation and efficiency, ensuring the alignment of digital solutions with the company's strategic objectives. By fostering strong cross-functional collaboration and maintaining a deep understanding of business priorities, the Business Solutions Senior Manager will enable the organization to leverage technology as a core enabler of growth and digital transformation to optimize value.
Position Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities as Senior Manager - Business Solutions will include the following:
- Business Needs Analysis
- Collaborate closely with Silal Group business units and subsidiaries to understand their specific technology requirements.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and value creation.
- Solution Design and Development
- Design and develop technology solutions aligned with identified business needs and strategic priorities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to architect, implement, and scale solutions effectively.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards and industry best practices.
- Project Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives, including planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Track project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure delivery within agreed timelines, scope, and budget parameters.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a strategic liaison between business units and the Digital function, ensuring clear articulation of business requirements and solution outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering alignment, trust, and collaboration.
- Technology Innovation
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their relevance to the organization.
- Identify and champion opportunities for innovation, developing strategies to leverage new technologies in support of business growth and operational excellence.
- Vendor and Partner Management
- Establish and manage strategic relationships with technology vendors and partners to support digital transformation initiatives.
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with organizations specializing in Food Security technologies and solutions to enhance capability development and innovation.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish metrics to measure the effectiveness and business impact of digital transformation initiatives.
- Provide regular, data-driven updates to senior leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and tangible value.
Position Requirements:
In order to be successful in this role, you should have
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, Master's degree is preferable
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives, and delivering measurable value within a complex organization
