Job Summary:
The Cybersecurity Manager serves as the focal point for cybersecurity risk management, requiring strong analytical, coordination, and cybersecurity capabilities. The role is responsible for leading cybersecurity risk assessment activities, maintaining the cyber risk register, and ensuring the effective identification, analysis, and mitigation of cybersecurity risks across the organization. The position also contributes to strengthening the organization's overall risk management framework and cybersecurity posture.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and conduct enterprise-wide cybersecurity risk assessments across systems, applications, and processes.
- Develop, maintain, and regularly update the cybersecurity risk register.
- Analyze and evaluate identified risks, including likelihood, impact, and overall risk exposure.
- Define and recommend appropriate risk treatment plans (mitigation, acceptance, transfer, or avoidance).
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of risk mitigation measures.
- Monitor and track the status of identified risks and remediation actions.
- Ensure alignment of risk management activities with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and enhancement of cybersecurity risk management frameworks and methodologies.
- Prepare and present risk reports and dashboards to senior management and relevant committees.
- Provide advisory support on cybersecurity risks for new projects, initiatives, and technology implementations.
- Conduct risk-based reviews of third parties and vendors, where applicable.
- Promote risk awareness and a strong cybersecurity risk culture across the organization.
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in GRC, Cyber security, and quality assurance.
Languages:
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
