As our footprint expands across the UAE and internationally, we are strengthening our Engineering & Innovation capabilities and are now looking for a Sr Manager Design & Infrastructure Planning International to join our team.
The Senior Manager Design & Infrastructure Planning is responsible for leading the planning, design governance, and delivery oversight of international data centre projects across multiple geographies.
The role ensures that all design and planning activities are executed in alignment with Khazna's technical standards, Employer's Requirements, budget, schedule, and regulatory obligations. Acting as a design authority and integrator, the role coordinates internal teams, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure high-quality, compliant, and scalable design outcomes across the international project portfolio.
Key deliverables include but not limited to:
- Support Line manager in planning and design management of international data centre projects from site selection through concept, detailed design, IFC, and delivery support stages.
- Visit and evaluate proposed plots for new International Data Centers.
- Act as a design authority for international projects, ensuring compliance with approved design intent, ERs, codes, and standards.
- Manage design consultants and specialist advisors across international projects.
- Act as a primary technical interface with international clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Provide design leadership during construction, including review of RFIs, site instructions, and design changes.
- Manage, mentor, and support the design and infrastructure planning team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
Minimum eligibility requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 8 years of experience in design and planning of mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- Strong exposure to international and hyperscale data centre projects.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing consultants across geographies.
- Deep understanding of data centre infrastructure and international standards
- Strong stakeholder, client-facing, and authority management skills
- Design governance and technical assurance expertise
- Planning, coordination, and portfolio oversight capability
- Clear, confident technical communication
