Job Purpose: As the Senior Manager Digital Products Growth & Engagement, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for fan growth, engagement, and retention across our web and mobile digital experiences. This role is accountable for executing large-scale, moment-driven events and potentially turning them into a continuous, year-round digital ecosystem. You will design and scale powerful engagement loops using gamification systems, personalization, and messaging, while partnering closely with internal and external teams and partners.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy: Define and own the fan growth, engagement, and retention roadmap across web and mobile platforms.
- Gamification Systems: Design, build, and scale loyalty programs, quests, progression systems, and engagement mechanics that drive repeat participation.
- Special Products: Own the strategy, expansion, and execution of fantasy leagues, predictions, and other interactive fan products.
- Lifecycle Optimization: Define and continuously optimize the end-to-end fan journeys, from initial activation through post-event re-engagement.
- Experimentation & Optimization: Drive a culture of experimentation through split testing and rapid iteration to systematically improve engagement and retention.
- Narrative Integration: Partner with creative and content teams to translate brand narratives and storylines into compelling digital engagement experiences.
- Commercial Alignment: Collaborate with commercial teams to design and execute sponsor-safe engagement activations.
- Performance Tracking: Define, track, and report on engagement performance using clear, data-driven KPIs.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify and validate new digital growth opportunities based on fan behavior analysis, product insights, and brand alignment.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in digital product management, growth product, or consumer engagement roles.
- Proven track record in owning growth, engagement, and retention strategies for large-scale consumer digital platforms.
- Hands-on experience designing and scaling gamification systems, loyalty programs, or engagement loops.
- Strong experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, community, engineering, analytics, and commercial partners.
- Experience in sports, gaming, entertainment, or live event ecosystems is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Deep understanding of growth product principles, engagement loops, and product lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into product strategy and experimentation plans.
- Experience with personalization, segmentation, CRM, and notification systems.
- Proven ability to balance creative storytelling with data-driven decision making.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across senior team members, without direct authority.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-visibility environments with evolving priorities.
