Overview
Knight Frank is growing its industry-leading Environmental, Social & Governance advisory platform in the MENA region. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to support our regional ESG strategy, delivering advisory and technical services to high-profile clients across the real estate lifecycle. The role will involve direct client engagement, technical project delivery, and contribution to thought leadership and business development in the ESG space.You will play a crucial role in advising clients on integration of sustainable principles and practices into their operations, aligning their business goals with global sustainability standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver ESG and sustainability advisory projects across the real estate asset lifecycle: acquisition, design, asset management, operational property management, refurbishment/redevelopment, and disposal.
- Pro-actively explore, engage and develop the existing Knight Frank client base across the MENA region.
- Utilise existing client relationships to generate fee income for the firm.
- Lead and coordinate sustainability benchmarking, reporting and disclosure engagements.
- Support client compliance and performance initiatives under frameworks such as Estidama, LEED, BREEAM, GRESB, SECR, and ISO14001 & Mostadam
- Showcase strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks including GRI, SASB,TCFD, CDP, UNGC,etc, and experience in implementing these frameworks with efficient and effective delivery
- Assist in identifying and implementing energy efficiency and renewable energy strategies.
- Develop dashboards and analytics for energy and ESG performance tracking.
- Prepare high-quality client deliverables, presentations, and recommendations.
- Support client development and engagement activities, including proposals and bids.
- Liaise across internal service lines to promote ESG integration into broader consultancy services.
- Remain informed on regional and international ESG standards, trends, and regulations.
- Attend industry events and contribute to raising Knight Frank's ESG profile in the market.
- Foster the professional image of Knight Frank at all times.
- Understand and adhere to Knight Frank's best practices and protocols.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Architecture, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- 10+ years of experience delivering ESG or sustainability services to real estate or infrastructure clients.
- Strong understanding of key sustainability and ESG frameworks and certifications.
- Experience in client-facing commercial sales within GCC region
- Demonstrable success in delivering projects focused on decarbonization
- Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with experience in sustainability metrics and data platforms.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Willingness to travel regularly as per business need
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
- Professional certifications (e.g., LEED AP, BREEAM Assessor, ISO Auditor) are advantageous.
