Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts, based in Dubai. The role involves overseeing and managing all financial and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, inventory and financial reporting. The Senior Manager will lead and manage a team, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and develop strategies to optimize financial performance. Collaboration with sales and customer service teams to support business operations is also a key aspect of the role.

Your Responsibilities:

Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling, and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.

Provide inputs for monthly and quarterly business reviews in a timely manner.

Facilitate the business reviews with data analysis and follow through with business leaders on actionable items for improving business metrics over a period.

Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders, and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.

Ensure all stakeholders are updated by sharing timely financial reports and influencing the direction of strategy for the business.

Identify future challenges and maintaining a pro-active approach towards resolving the same.

Perform ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling.

Present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives.

Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company's status and financial forecasts.

Oversee the operations and development of the company's finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.

Facilitate budgets and monthly forecasting to meet strict deadlines and be the primary contact between FPR and assigned operational Divisions to ensure high level financial information is delivered to assist in decision making.

Qualifications

MBA/CA in finance or any relevant field.

10 plus years of experience in management reporting and analysis, forecasting and budgeting, business partnering etc.

Prior work experience in retail sector preferred.

Strong proven background in financial reporting, financial systems, managing performance metrics in a complex entity with global reach.

Financial and commercial acumen and leadership when undertaking financial reviews and assessments;

Proficiency in applying judgement and providing direction on outcomes.
