Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial reporting, including preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IGAAP.
- Support and drive the ongoing IGAAP to Ind-AS migration project, ensuring accurate alignment with new reporting standards.
- Manage Internal Financial Controls (IFC) documentation, audits, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Oversee month-end book closure activities for foreign subsidiaries (USA & UAE), covering accounting, transaction reviews, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with Big 4 audit firms to ensure timely completion of statutory audits for the parent entity and international subsidiaries.
- Coordinate and manage the internal audit process, collaborating with internal teams and external auditors.
- Conduct periodic review of books, inter-company reconciliations, and alignment of subsidiary accounting with the parent entity's policies.
- Supervise banking operations, payments, and funds management for subsidiaries and other activities to support audit closure and compliance
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–6 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and audits, preferably with exposure to Ind-AS.
- Strong technical knowledge of Ind-AS and IGAAP accounting standards & hands-on experience in financial consolidation.
- Proven ability to collaborate with Big 4 auditors and manage statutory audit timelines effectively.
- High level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Zoho Books, and other finance/accounting tools.
