Our client, a highly reputed Abu Dhabi-based organisation, is seeking a Senior Manager – Governance & ADAA Reporting to support a high-impact governance and reporting mandate on a 12-month contract basis.
This role will play a key part in coordinating accountability reporting requirements, strengthening governance frameworks, supporting internal controls, and engaging with senior stakeholders, including the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA).
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective reporting, governance oversight, and continuous improvement of processes and controls within a leading investment institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate ADAA-related reporting requirements, ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive submissions.
- Prepare governance reports, management updates, presentations, and briefing materials for senior leadership and relevant committees.
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Operations, and business functions to consolidate and validate reporting inputs.
- Support governance frameworks, risk assessments, internal control reviews, and remediation tracking activities.
- Monitor accountability and governance requirements, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and reporting practices.
- Support Audit, Risk, and other governance forums through preparation of relevant materials and insights.
- Drive improvements in reporting processes, documentation standards, and governance frameworks.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CIA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent are advantageous.
- 10–15+ years of experience in governance, internal audit, risk management, assurance, regulatory/accountability reporting, or related functions.
- Experience within Abu Dhabi government entities, government-related organisations (GREs), sovereign wealth funds, investment organisations, or regulated financial institutions is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks, Audit Committees, internal controls, and accountability reporting environments.
- Prior exposure to ADAA requirements is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills with the ability to operate independently.
