Senior Manager, Health & Safety

A leading education institution is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Health & Safety to lead workplace safety, fire safety and regulatory compliance across its campus environment.

Responsibilities

Reporting into the Head of Department, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of WSH, EHS and fire safety frameworks, policies and management systems, while ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements. The role will oversee risk management, workplace inspections and audits, incident investigations, fire drills, regulatory submissions and safety performance reporting. Working closely with facilities and building operations teams, the position will provide safety oversight for maintenance, operational and project activities, liaise with regulatory agencies and service providers, and drive safety awareness through training, engagement programmes and committee activities.

Requirements

You possess at least 10 years of WSH experience within a large institution, educational campus, healthcare facility or similarly complex built environment, with strong knowledge of Singapore safety and fire regulations. Registration as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and qualification as a Fire Safety Manager (FSM) are required, alongside strong stakeholder management and practical problem-solving capabilities.
