WHAT'S THE ROLE
This role plays a pivotal part in driving the growth and commercial success of DXB LIVE by leading contract management and business development initiatives across multiple countries. The position focuses on venues and large-scale events, including sport and e-sport, in close coordination and strategic alignment with the Line Manager.
The role will be instrumental in expanding DXB LIVE's global footprint, strengthening strategic partnerships, and maximising revenue opportunities within the events, sport, and e-sport sectors.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE
- Manage the end-to-end contract management process, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients, suppliers and partners across multiple countries.
- Ensure compliance with DWTC's local and international legal and regulatory requirements, mitigating risk and safeguarding the organisation's interests through effective contract management.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Finance and Operations, to facilitate contract execution, resolve disputes and ensure timely fulfilment of contractual obligations.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic business development plans to expand the organisation's presence and revenue streams within international events, sport and e-sport markets.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and strategic alliances through market research, industry analysis and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry associations and government entities to monitor market trends, understand client requirements and gather competitive intelligence.
- Assist in negotiating complex agreements with clients, suppliers and strategic partners across different jurisdictions, securing favourable terms aligned with organisational objectives.
- Navigate cultural differences, legal frameworks and business practices within international markets to ensure successful negotiations and commercial transactions.
- Monitor and analyse contract performance metrics, including revenue, profitability and compliance, and present insights and recommendations to the Head of International Business. Prepare detailed reports and analysis on key performance indicators, market developments and business development activities, providing regular updates to the Head of International Business.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 5-8 years experience in business development roles within the events industry, with a particular focus on international markets, sports and e-sports.
- A robust understanding of legal and regulatory prerequisites pertaining to international business operations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities, coupled with the capacity to cultivate relationships and exert influence across all levels of stakeholders.
- Possession of a results-oriented mindset and the adeptness to propel business growth through inventive solutions and strategies for market expansion.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Management Information Systems (MIS), encompassing Power BI, among others.
