Job Purpose: As theSenior Manager Media Ecosystem, you will own the strategy, governance, and execution of Media Asset Management (MAM) across EWC and ENC, ensuring that every broadcast, social clip, player interview, highlight, and branded segment is captured, indexed, searchable, and commercially exploitable year-round. You will build and operate a best-in-class asset ecosystem that transforms event content into a structured, monetizable media library that fuels distribution, marketing, commercial partnerships, documentaries, and historical storytelling.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Own and govern the Media Asset Management (MAM) system, including taxonomy, metadata standards, access controls, and long-term structure.
- Lead all event ingest workflows across EWC and ENC, ensuring every broadcast feed, iso recording, social edit, and branded segment is captured and properly catalogued.
- Oversee structured post-event consolidation, including content clean-up, metadata enrichment, rights verification, and archive standardization.
- Define and implement scalable metadata and indexing frameworks that enable fast, intuitive search by player, match, team, sponsor, and tournament stage.
- Manage long-term cloud storage strategy, balancing accessibility, redundancy, and cost efficiency across storage tiers.
- Act as the central bridge enabling Broadcast, Distribution, Commercial, and Social teams to access and leverage historical footage year-round.
- Ensure rights governance and compliance across all archived assets in line with contractual and licensing obligations.
- Identify and develop monetization opportunities for archival content, including licensing, documentary usage, and premium content initiatives.
- Evaluate and optimize MAM tools, integrations, and automation solutions, including AI-based tagging and transcription where relevant.
- Provide leadership reporting on archive growth, storage costs, asset usage, and operational efficiency, while continuously improving workflows for scalability.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in media management, communications, or a related field.
- 810+ years in media asset management, broadcast operations, digital archiving, or content operations within esports, sports, entertainment, or large-scale live event
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Deep understanding of Media Asset Management systems
- Experience with cloud storage tiers (hot, warm, cold storage models)
- Knowledge of broadcast file formats, codecs, and ingest workflows
- Strong metadata architecture and taxonomy design capability
- Familiarity with rights management and licensing constraints
- Experience managing high-volume live event media environments
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build scalable systems for global, multi-language content
- Analytical mindset with strong documentation capabilities
- Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented operator
