Position Overview
The Senior Manager – Trade Intelligence & Policy Finance supports large-scale transformation programs focused on trade, supply chain resilience, and economic cooperation. Working closely with government stakeholders, senior leadership, solution architects, and delivery teams, the role sits at the intersection of economic policy, trade analytics, supply chain intelligence, and digital enablement.
The role is responsible for translating policy and operational priorities into high-impact analytical use cases and platform-enabled solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and delivery outcomes expected by senior government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support definition of use cases related to supply chain resilience, trade flows, CEPA impact analysis, strategic goods, and partner dependencies
- Translate leadership priorities and policy objectives into clear business, functional, and analytical requirements with defined success metrics
- Support scoping of proof-of-concepts, pilots, and phased rollouts aligned with government priorities
- Oversee and support analysis of domestic and international trade data, supply chains, trade corridors, and critical commodities
- Work with economists and data teams to validate assumptions, methodologies, KPIs, and analytical logic
- Support CEPA-related analysis including trade trends, sectoral impacts, and pre-/post-CEPA comparisons
- Define analytics required to track economic benefits, diversification, and strategic partner performance
- Partner with solution and data architects to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into platform designs
- Support functional walkthroughs, UAT planning, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria
- Ensure alignment between business use cases and platform capabilities, with focus on scalability and reuse
- Engage senior government stakeholders across policy, trade, and operations
- Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and validation meetings
- Prepare use case briefs, analytical summaries, insight decks, and decision papers for senior officials
- Support governance through structured reporting, action tracking, and issue escalation
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- 8–12+ years of experience in management consulting, trade finance, economic advisory, or government transformation programs
- Strong understanding of trade flows, supply chains, economic cooperation frameworks, and CEPA concepts
- Proven experience working with government entities and senior stakeholders
- Experience translating policy or leadership priorities into analytical and digital use cases
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Ministries of Finance, Economy, or Trade
- Background in economics, finance, public policy, or international trade
- Exposure to data platforms, analytics solutions, or decision-support systems
