We are hiring an AI Engineering Manager with a deep focus on product to join a major enterprise technology initiative. Our client is making significant investments in their core platform ecosystem to accelerate the development and deployment of intelligent agent runtimes across the business.

Our client works across complex data environments and needs an engineering leader who can treat platform development as a primary product. You will lead a high performing group of engineers, platform specialists, and product professionals to turn complex technical capabilities into stable, scalable services.

As an AI Engineering Manager with strong product ownership, you will lead the architecture, build, and stabilization of a modern enterprise platform built on Azure. You will balance deep engineering execution with strategic product thinking, managing platform backlogs as a service to support a rapidly expanding portfolio of AI and machine learning use cases.

This role requires a forward deployed engineering mindset. You will sit at the intersection of complex software development, platform architecture, and product strategy, ensuring foundational platform components are rock solid while accelerating internal developer velocity.

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team including software engineers, platform specialists, and product team members
• Define and execute the platform roadmap with a heavy emphasis on treating infrastructure and platform capabilities as a service
• Stabilize core building blocks while enabling internal engineering teams to rapidly build and deploy agent runtimes
• Drive platform architecture and technical design using the Azure ecosystem
• Manage, prioritize, and groom complex engineering and product backlogs to support dozens of evolving enterprise use cases
• Translate high level business and machine learning requirements into actionable technical delivery plans for your teams
• Foster an environment of technical excellence, continuous delivery, and product driven engineering standards

• Proven background operating as an Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, Product Manager with strong product management responsibility
• Extensive experience building, scaling, and managing enterprise platforms as a product
• Deep technical experience with Azure cloud architecture and engineering design
• Hands on expertise in platform engineering, machine learning pipelines, or developing agent runtimes
• Direct experience managing engineers, platform architects, and product professionals
• Prior background within banking or highly regulated enterprise environments is preferred
• A forward deployed engineering mindset capable of operating across high level strategy and deep architecture
