Overview:
Freedom Telecom International is looking for a Senior Manager to drive Project Delivery & Business Development and support key initiatives across our target markets. This role is ideal for someone who can handle a portfolio of opportunities as they turn from ideas to concept to execution, combining strong research, business development, and project management skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage strategic projects, programs and cross-functional initiatives from planning to delivery
Assist in M&A target sourcing, deal evaluation, and postdeal execution
Conduct in-depth market, industry, and competitor research to support decision-making and opportunity assessment
Build high-quality presentations and strategic documents for internal and external stakeholders
Present findings and proposals confidently to executive audiences
Support business development efforts, including partner outreach, proposal creation, and opportunity analysis
Work closely with leadership to turn strategic goals into actionable plans
Track progress of multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment and timely execution
Travel occasionally to support program rollouts, meetings, and relationship building
Must-Have Requirements
10+ years in telecom, technology, financial-services, or consulting environments with ownership of program delivery, business development, P&L, or pipeline.
Demonstrated experience managing full partner lifecycle (from sourcing to launch and beyond), ideally with telcos, hyperscalers, network OEMs or software vendors.
Strong program governance capability, including RAID management, OKRs/KPIs, and familiarity with commercial/contracting frameworks (LOI, MoU, SOW).
Excellent research, analytical, presentation, and communication skills in English; able to translate complex material into executive-ready insights.
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams end-to-end, work independently, and drive execution in fast-moving environments.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
Fintech exposure: embedded finance, payments/issuer-acquirer flows, KYC/AML; Candidates without prior Fintech experience must develop a solid understanding of leading Fintech business models before joining (e.g., Revolut, Trade Republic, FRHC).
Telco exposure: MNOs / MVNOs / MVNEs.
Professional project management certifications; familiarity with project mgmt tools.
Experience within top-tier consulting firms.
Additional languages beyond English.
Work Location: Preference for candidates currently residing in Dubai, UAE or Kazakhstan in our hub locations. Some international travel required depending on program needs (1 week / month on average)
