About The Role
Manage large scale projects and support in the delivery of ECFZ programmes.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage all activities across ECFZ large-scale projects to enable successful delivery of project goals in a timely matter.
- Provide guidance to define project's scope of work; lead deliverables, plan schedule, monitor resources (personnel, equipment and materials) and oversee budget to meet EC&FZ client's requirements.
- Control ECFZ large-scale project risks, provide advice to resolve issues and update mitigation plans to ensure project success.
- Responsible for ensuring ECFZ project compliance to group governance, internal and external stakeholders, and cluster requirements.
- Support in managing the interfaces and dependencies across ECFZ project, clusters, and external parties.
- Promote HSE culture and activities in the construction activities across ECFZ large scale projects.
- Monitor the progress and performance of large-scall projects, review metrics, analyze bottlenecks, and recommend action plans.
- Prepare reports for the management for all ECFZ medium-scall project delivery such as the current activities, data analysis and forecasting study.
- Liaise with ECFZ large scale project owners and review the assigned specifications, standards, and procedures to meet project requirements and achieve objectives.
- Direct maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all large-scale projects.
People Management Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative culture between project teams, supply chain and other stakeholders for the betterment of the AD Ports group.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with other projects, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of departmental working practices.
- Identify and support improvement initiatives.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (engineering, construction management, project management, etc.)
- Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in delivering construction projects in an industrial environment.
- Experience as a senior project manager or in a programme management position.
- Working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
- Preferably have work in both construction and consultancy organisations.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in project management including the ability to plan, execute and oversee projects from concept to implementation.
