Senior Manager Regional Container Flow Execution role oversees and supports Areas in weekly flow execution while driving new processes and rollouts on regional level. Reports to: Functional; Director - Global Container Flow Execution & Cost Control Administrative; Director - Regional Container Steering
Tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinate with Area/QSC teams to plan and execute the Regional flow plan, identify and help solving structural challenges hindering moved as booked KPI adherence.
- Monitor target stock levels for all surplus and deficit locations and engage with Areas to
overcome performance challenges. - Support Area Container Flow Execution teams in supplying EQ to cover forecasted bookings.
- Proactively engage with Regional and Area stakeholders to find effective solutions to anticipated
challenges. - Analyse booking forecasts, imbalances, and operational constraints to optimize flows and stock
levels in close cooperation with Regional Container Flow Planning & Steering and Area/QSC Flow Execution teams. - Review & optimize local processes and exceptions to global processes.
- Drive systematic improvements needed to improve DAP input parameters (with Regional
System Steering). - Monitor and drive S&D cost reductions related to transport & depot handling (with Regional S&D
Analyst). - Champion IoT use cases, automation and Street-Turns in Areas/QSCs for the region.
- Oversee and support areas with vendor management, truckers and depots.
QualificationsRequirements for the role
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, trucking or equipment management.
- Experience in Regional operations and equipment steering.
- Good understanding of both commercial and operational drivers in logistics.
- Strong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional alignment.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; Regional language skills are a plus.
