Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

Leasing Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and tenant mix targets.
Identify and secure new retail concepts, brands, and operators aligned with asset positioning.
Lead negotiations for lease terms, commercial structures, and contractual agreements.
Manage renewals, relocations, expansions, and re-gearing of existing tenants.
Monitor leasing performance against budgets and KPIs.

Tenant Mix & Asset Enhancement

Curate and optimize tenant mix to improve footfall, customer experience, and asset value.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Collaborate with asset management and marketing teams to position retail assets effectively.
Recommend repositioning strategies and leasing initiatives for underperforming areas.

Client & Stakeholder Management

Maintain strong relationships with retailers, brokers, and leasing agents.
Act as primary point of contact for key tenants and strategic brands.
Coordinate with internal teams including Retail Delivery, Legal, Finance, and Property Management.
Support senior management with leasing updates and strategic recommendations.

Financial & Commercial Management

Achieve leasing revenue targets and optimize rental yields.
Analyze financial proposals including rent structures, turnover rent, and incentives.
Prepare leasing forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
Evaluate business cases and commercial viability of prospective tenants.

Documentation & Compliance

Oversee lease documentation in coordination with legal teams.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and leasing procedures.
Monitor lease milestones, critical dates, and contractual obligations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
812 years of retail leasing experience, preferably within shopping malls or mixed-use developments.
Proven track record of closing leasing deals with regional and international brands.
Strong understanding of retail market dynamics and commercial negotiations.
