Senior Manager – Security & Crowd Management
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
We are recruiting a Senior Manager – Security & Crowd Management for a leading government organisation in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional to lead the planning and delivery of security operations for large-scale public events and high-profile national programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead security and crowd management operations for major public events.
- Develop security strategies, risk assessments and emergency response plans.
- Manage crowd flow, access control, emergency evacuation and public safety.
- Coordinate with police, Civil Defence, medical services and government authorities.
- Lead and manage large security teams and external security contractors.
- Ensure compliance with international security and safety standards.
- Build and develop an in-house security and crowd management function.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in security, public safety, policing, emergency management or crowd management.
- Proven leadership of large-scale events with daily attendance of 100,000+ people.
- Strong experience in multi-agency coordination and incident command.
- Excellent stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
- Fluent English is essential.
- Willingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Preferred Background
- Experience with major sporting events, festivals, stadiums, national celebrations or large public gatherings.
- Background in police, military or emergency services combined with significant event security experience.
- GCC or international event experience is an advantage.
