Role Summary
The Senior Manager - Social Media is responsible for the Social Media sub-function at MAF Retail. The role holder will create and deploy the overall multi-market Social Media strategy for our brands, set the KPIs & expectations for the sub-function, provide mentorship & leadership and be the Social Media expert for MAF Retail

- Develop annual Social Media plans and budgets, overseeing content frameworks, channel priorities, and influencer/creator strategy endtoend.
- Direct content development and production across all formats, ensuring highimpact, platformnative content that drives engagement and brand relevance.
- Establish governance, operating models, guidelines, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to standardize Social Media performance across markets.
- Manage platform partnerships and agencies (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.) to deliver innovative, efficient, and ROIdriven campaigns.
- Lead social listening, sentiment monitoring, and crisis management, providing strategic recommendations and escalation guidance during highrisk situations.
- Build and develop a highperforming multimarket Social Media team, driving capability building, performance management, and continuous learning.
- Serve as the senior Social Media advisor to Marketing, PR, Corporate Communications, Loyalty, Sustainability, and executive teams, integrating Social Media into enterprisewide business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, with strong foundational understanding of brand and digital communication principles.
- 10+ years of experience leading Social Media in a large organization or top-tier digital marketing agency; Retail industry experience preferred.
- Strong strategic and creative thinking abilities, with a proven capacity to translate insights into impactful Social Media initiatives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, align, and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities, demonstrating strong multitasking, problemsolving, and execution discipline.
- High attention to detail, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency across all Social Media outputs and processes.
