Job Description

Senior Manager Strategic Planning (UAEN Only)

Job Purpose

To lead the development, coordination, and monitoring of the organization's strategic and operational plans, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, government priorities, and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

  • Lead the development of the organization's strategic plan (3–5 years).
  • Coordinate with all departments to develop annual operational plans aligned with strategy.
  • Ensure alignment with government frameworks and priorities.

Planning Coordination

  • Consolidate departmental plans into a unified corporate plan.
  • Review and validate planning inputs (objectives, initiatives, KPIs).
  • Ensure consistency between strategy, manpower plans, and budget.

Performance & Monitoring

  • Develop and track KPIs and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor progress against approved plans and timelines.
  • Prepare periodic performance reports for leadership.

Data & Analysis

  • Conduct analysis, benchmarking, and forecasting to support planning.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support decision-making with data-driven insights.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure planning processes follow internal policies and governance.
  • Maintain proper documentation and approvals of plans.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with leadership, HR, Finance, and departments.
  • Present planning updates to senior management / committees.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage the planning team.
  • Set objectives and monitor team performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategic Planning, Economics, or related field
  • Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
  • 10–12 years of experience in strategic planning / corporate planning
  • Experience in government or semi-government is preferred
