Our client, one of the region's leading AI investment companies, is seeking an exceptional Senior Manager – Workplace & Facilities to lead the delivery of a world-class workplace and corporate services function at its Abu Dhabi headquarters.
This is not a traditional facilities management role. We are looking for a seasoned corporate services professional who has spent 15+ years leading workplace operations within prestigious organization's where exceptional service, executive support and operational excellence are the standard.
This role is highly visible and will partner closely with senior leadership, requiring someone with executive presence, excellent judgement and the confidence to manage demanding stakeholders while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and discretion.
The role is a 12 month renewable contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Internal Corporate Services function, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional workplace experience.
- Develop and implement best-in-class corporate service standards, operational procedures and governance frameworks.
- Design, implement and continuously improve VVIP protocols for executive leadership visits, Board meetings and distinguished guests.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all workplace and facilities-related matters across the organization.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, ensuring a proactive, solutions-focused service.
- Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary operational team responsible for front-of-house, workplace services, hospitality support, transport services, security and housekeeping.
- Drive accountability, performance and a culture of service excellence across the team.
- Manage stakeholder expectations with confidence, providing appropriate challenge and pushback where required while maintaining strong relationships.
- Support workplace operations through effective vendor management, supplier coordination and office supply management.
- Monitor service delivery standards, identify improvement opportunities and implement operational enhancements.
- Ensure the seamless delivery of executive events, Board activities and high-profile visits.
- Manage operational budgets, KPIs and service performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years experience in Corporate Services, Workplace Experience, Office Operations or Facilities Management.
- Currently based in Abu Dhabi.
- Proven experience working within highly regarded organization's such as sovereign wealth funds, investment firms, multinational headquarters, executive offices, government entities, luxury hospitality or similarly high-profile environments.
- Significant experience leading workplace operations and multidisciplinary service teams.
- Previous management responsibility for teams delivering front-of-house, workplace support, hospitality services, transport coordination, security and housekeeping.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing VVIP protocols, executive visit processes and premium workplace service standards.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience supporting executive leadership.
- Strong leadership capability with the confidence to manage challenging conversations, influence stakeholders and provide constructive pushback when necessary.
- Experience managing vendors, supplier relationships and office supply requirements.
- Highly organized with excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Calm under pressure with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with discretion.
