Job Summary:
The Senior Managing Consultant SAP Basis is responsible for driving enterprise-level SAP Basis strategy, governance, and transformation across large and complex programs. The role involves leading multiple engagements, managing SAP landscapes at scale, and ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Key Skills
- 12–15 years of experience in SAP Basis administration and leadership roles
- Proven expertise in large-scale SAP landscape management and transformations
- Deep knowledge of SAP system architecture, HANA, and integrations
- Strong experience in installations, upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformations
- Expertise in system performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of SAP governance, security, and compliance
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager and advanced monitoring tools
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments
- Excellent stakeholder management with exposure to senior leadership
- Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive enterprise-wide SAP Basis strategy and roadmap
- Lead multiple large-scale programs ensuring system stability, performance, and delivery excellence
- Establish governance frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Oversee SAP landscape architecture, upgrades, migrations, and cloud initiatives
- Ensure high availability, security, and compliance across systems
- Monitor program performance, system metrics, and executive-level reporting
- Manage risks, issues, and escalations with proactive mitigation
- Drive innovation in Basis operations (automation, cloud, optimization)
- Lead, mentor, and develop leadership teams
