Senior Marine Projects Specialist (Emirati) – Dubai government
A leading Dubai Government entity is looking for a Senior Marine Projects Specialist to join its Public Beaches & Waterways Management team.
Location: Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and delivery of marine, coastal, waterfront, beach, and landscape projects.
- Manage project design, construction, timelines, quality, and technical requirements.
- Oversee contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage FIDIC-based contracts, variations, claims, and contractual matters.
- Ensure projects meet quality, sustainability, HSE, and applicable technical standards.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and key milestones.
- Provide technical leadership and resolve project-related challenges.
- Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering/project management.
- Experience in coastal, marine, waterfront, beach, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, claims, and project management.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
