Aldrich is looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to take ownership of marketing across our portfolio of conferences, exhibitions and industry events. The role requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to manage multiple events, campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end marketing strategies for multiple conferences, exhibitions and events throughout the year.
- Plan and manage event-wise marketing calendars across social media, email, digital, content, media and industry partnerships.
- Conduct market, competitor and audience research to identify opportunities for event growth.
- Create and manage content for events, including campaigns, announcements, speaker, sponsor and exhibitor promotions.
- Manage social media strategy, content calendars and regular postings across relevant platforms.
- Plan, execute and optimise paid advertising campaigns to drive registrations, delegates, exhibitors and leads.
- Track campaign performance, CPL, conversions, registrations and overall marketing ROI.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, databases, audience segmentation and campaign performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media partners, industry associations and promotional partners.
- Identify and execute marketing exchange and cross-promotion opportunities.
- Work closely with the Design and Digital teams to ensure timely delivery of all marketing creatives, websites, landing pages and digital assets.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Conference Production and Operations teams to align marketing activity with event and commercial objectives.
- Manage multiple campaigns and events simultaneously, ensuring all marketing deliverables are completed on time.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Prepare regular marketing performance reports and provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Conduct post-event marketing analysis and implement learnings into future campaigns.
- Take full ownership of marketing deliverables from planning and execution through to post-event reporting.
- Maintain strong brand consistency across all events and marketing channels.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, new platforms, industry developments and competitor activity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within events, conferences, exhibitions or B2B marketing.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media, email marketing, paid advertising and marketing analytics.
- Experience with marketing automation, CRM, email marketing and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of lead generation, conversion tracking, campaign performance and ROI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management, organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commonly used digital marketing tools.
- Experience in B2B events, exhibitions, conferences, energy, oil & gas, industrial or technical sectors will be highly advantageous.
