A leading organization in the retail industry is seeking a highly experienced Senior Marketing Manager to drive the brand's end-to-end marketing strategy across multiple regional markets. This role is ideal for a commercial, insight-driven marketing leader who excels in building integrated campaigns, elevating customer engagement, and shaping impactful brand communication across omni-channel platforms.
Role Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of the annual marketing calendar, champion customer-centric campaign propositions, manage creative and media partners, and ensure strong alignment between marketing activities and commercial priorities. This position requires exceptional strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, and a deep understanding of consumer behaviour within fast-paced retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Event Strategy
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of the annual marketing calendar across seasons, categories, and regions.
- Build integrated campaign strategies aligned to business objectives and customer needs.
- Define KPIs and monitor campaign effectiveness across digital, in-store, and ATL channels.
Customer Insight & Proposition Development
- Develop compelling value propositions rooted in consumer data, cultural insights, and competitive landscape analysis.
- Collaborate with category, e-commerce, and merchandising teams to ensure campaigns support trading goals.
Creative Development & Brand Communication
- Oversee end-to-end creative development across digital, social, in-store, CRM, and ATL assets.
- Partner with internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver world-class content and storytelling.
Partner & Agency Management
- Build and manage a strong network of creative, production, and media partners.
- Select and brief the right partners based on campaign objectives and required expertise.
Media Strategy & Amplification
- Oversee media planning across ATL, digital, and performance channels.
- Continuously track media ROI and adapt strategies based on real-time performance insights.
Customer Value Management (CVM)
- Drive data-driven lifecycle marketing and segmentation strategies.
- Deliver personalized customer journeys that improve engagement, retention, and overall customer value.
Brand & Supplier Collaboration
- Lead co-marketing partnerships with key supplier brands.
- Execute joint visibility plans, in-store activations, and shared media initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of marketing experience within retail or FMCG, with strong exposure to GCC markets.
- Proven capability in leading integrated marketing campaigns across omni-channel environments.
- Experience collaborating with mid-to-large creative and media agencies.
Technical & Strategic Competencies
- Strong knowledge of CRM, segmentation, personalization, and loyalty marketing.
- Solid understanding of media strategy across ATL, digital, and performance platforms.
- Skilled in campaign planning, performance tracking, and optimization.
