Role Purpose
To execute and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes for direct and consumable materials, ensuring continuous material availability to support production schedules and business objectives.
Job Accountabilities
- Execute MRP processes and convert production schedules and forecasts into material replenishment plans.
- Monitor material availability and address shortages, supply constraints, and inventory risks to avoid production disruption.
- Review inventory policies, safety stock, reorder points, and planning calendars to align with business needs.
- Analyze inventory levels and support actions for slow-moving, excess, and obsolete stock.
- Improve replenishment efficiency through inventory segmentation and cost reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate with suppliers on lead times, order fulfillment, and capacity constraints.
- Track supplier OTIF performance and provide planning input for supplier reviews and sourcing decisions.
- Monitor supply risks, market trends, and demand changes, and support contingency planning.
- Maintain SAP planning master data and support continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives.
- Prepare planning dashboards and KPI reports for material availability, DOS, inventory turnover, SLOB, and supplier OTIF.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, IBF, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
Required Years of Experience
Minimum 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in Material Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain Planning, including at least 3 years within FMCG, Beverage, Food Manufacturing, Packaging, or Process Manufacturing industries.
