We're Hiring | Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

As part of our continued growth, we're looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Product Development team and contribute to the design, development, and manufacturing of our smart devices and electronic products.
Location: New Damietta
Work Type: Full-time | On-site
Note: Applicants must be residents of Damietta Governorate and available to work on-site in New Damietta.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of smart home and electronic products.
- Design product enclosures, housings, internal mechanical parts, and assemblies.
- Create and review 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Develop prototypes and support product testing, validation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing, assembly, quality, reliability, and cost.
- Select suitable materials and manufacturing processes according to product requirements.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles throughout the product development process.
- Work closely with Electronics, Embedded Systems, R&D, and Production teams to ensure proper integration between mechanical and electronic components.
- Support production teams in identifying and solving mechanical and manufacturing issues.
- Review existing product designs and recommend technical improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and design reviews for junior mechanical engineers.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Design, Product Design, or Product Development.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of:
- 3D Modeling & Assemblies
- Engineering Drawings
- GD&T & Tolerances
- DFM / DFA
- Material Selection
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, including:
- Injection Molding
- CNC Machining
- Sheet Metal
- 3D Printing
- Experience in electronic products, IoT devices, smart home products, or consumer hardware is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Good communication skills and command of English.
